Office Manager / Human Resources Representative

Escondido, CA

Our client in Escondido, CA is looking for a dedicated, hardworking and industrious business professional to handle multiple areas with our growing organization.  We have multiple locations throughout San Diego County, but this job will work from our corporate office.  Must have a good background in Human Resources as we continue to grow.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports company operations by maintaining office systems and supporting field staff.
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, assisting in preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and performing clerical tasks
  • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Assists field staff with Human Resource Advice, research, and compliance.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, such as deposit reconciliation, employee benefit eligibility for Health Insurance and Retirement Savings plan; summarizing information; identifying trends.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Two to three years’ experience in an office setting manager
  • PHR-CA Certificate
  • Proficient with office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF, Dropbox, Google Docs, etc)

 

Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
