Senior IT ERP Project Manager

The candidate who fills this Project Manager & Business Analyst role will serve as a “trusted advisor” and will be the primary IT point of contact to business line leaders. You will operate as the key business contact representing IT in promoting IT services and capabilities. You’ll act as a “Business Partner” and be responsible for collaboratively identifying and articulating assigned business departmental opportunities. Assist stakeholders in developing cost-benefit analysis (CBA) that effectively determines which projects to invest in. Effectively deliver projects in the role of Scrum Master or Project Manager. Ensure work is delivered with quality and to expectations by acting in the capacity of a Business Analyst.  This role is a hybrid position, in the office 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies the need for solutions, facilitates requests by assisting stakeholders with preparation of cost-benefit analysis that appropriately articulates and quantifies the value to be delivered by a request which will be used in filtering and prioritization activities.
• Facilitates recurring stakeholder meetings whose outcome is to filter, consider new requests, prioritize, obtain commitment to remove roadblocks and to facilitate a partnership that improves communication across all teams within the context of project execution, plays the Scrum Master or Project Manager role by facilitating all appropriate meetings including those geared toward work estimation, work assignment, opportunities for improvement and ultimately ensuring team success in its efforts to deliver to desired outcomes
• Critically evaluates technical, cost and business information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs
• Ensures all solutions support compliance and security requirements as they are being evaluated, designed, developed, and deployed
• Interprets customer business needs and translates them into application and/or operational requirements or stories to be managed in a backlog
• Develops and performs testing of varying levels of complexity to ensure solutions match desired outcomes and are free of unapproved defects
  
Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of enterprise level Business Analyst / Project Management experience is preferred.
• Experience in an agile scrum environment related to end-user support of corporate or enterprise level systems or services
• Experience supporting ERP applications is required
• Background in quality assurance and customer service
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Certified Scrum Master, PMP certification (PMI), and/or Business Analyst certification (IIBA or PMI), a plus
