Sr. IT Change Management & Communications Leader
This is a remote, work-from-home position.

The ProSource Group, Inc. is currently looking for an IT Change Management and Communications Leader. We have a client that is starting an Acquisition / Separation project.  We are looking for a senior level consultant to focus on the IT related Change Management topics. This consulting engagement is estimated to be 12+ months. A detailed job description of the position is listed below.

IT Change Management & Communications Leader
The candidate who fills this role will lead change management and communications across a multi-track separation, turning technical milestones into clear, timed communications and actions for around 2,200 colleagues in more than 40 countries. This will cover both computer- and non-computer-facing colleagues.

Engagement Description
Our client recently purchased another company and needs help effectively communicating the related IT changes to all of its employees. The IT Change and Communications Lead will coordinate changes across seven IT-related tracks: HR & payroll, infrastructure, security, standalone applications, ERP & connected applications, data, and commercial.
They are seeking a self-motivated and experienced change communications practitioner who will:

  • Own the colleague and customer experience from impact assessment through readiness, transition, and hyper care.
  • Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to understand what changes, when, how, what stays the same, what users need to do, and where they can get help.
  • Help initiatives meet objectives on time and within budget by building adoption and minimizing resistance and disruption.
  • Work with track leads, site leaders, internal experts, and the Corporate Communications Leader.

Corporate and brand communications remain with that team; this role focuses on the changes created by the separation and any key merger/acquisition activity taking place within the next 12 months. The role does not own corporate or external communications, technical track delivery, overall project management, or training for every system. It coordinates the people side of change across the separation.

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Integrated change calendar. Map milestones, audiences, sites, timing, dependencies, readiness, risks, and potential second-order impacts across all tracks and waves.
  • Impact and transition guidance. Assess organizational and end-user impacts; explain current, intermediate, and final states in plain language, with clear actions for each audience.
  • Communications and engagement. Set channels, timing, language, and senders by audience; produce wave announcements, checklists, quick guides, FAQs, manager packs, and town-hall materials.
  • Local readiness and feedback. Coordinate change champions and site leaders, provide input to training, align day-of support with track teams and the service desk, and use feedback and readiness measures to improve each wave.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Programme change experience. Led change management and communications in a large technology-driven programme, such as a carve-out, integration, ERP or workplace rollout.
  • Clear communication. Can understand technical changes and explain their impact and required actions to non-technical audiences, including production and lab teams. Must have excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Stakeholder engagement. Effectively identify and map stakeholder impact and work closely with a global stakeholder group to effectively develop, review/approve, and deploy communications.
  • Hands-on delivery. Writes, designs, and publishes communications; confident with Microsoft 365 channels, including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Audience reach and method. Has supported multi-site, multi-country audiences and uses practical impact, stakeholder, risk, readiness, and adoption methods. Fluent in English.
  • Preferred: Experience of a TSA-driven separation.
